If there’s one date to circle on your summer calendar, it’s August 9th–10th.
Leicester Food Festival is returning to Abbey Park - and this year, it’s bigger, bolder, and tastier than ever. Following a sell-out debut and national praise as one of the UK’s best budget family festivals, the 2025 edition will be an unforgettable weekend of flavour, fun, and family entertainment.
Featuring over 50 food vendors with flavours from around the world. Whether you’re craving award-winning burgers from Meatcastles, Sri Lankan street food, an African BBQ, viral Dubai chocolate ice cream, candy floss or an array of artisan bakes, this is the place to find it! Decorated with colourful deck chairs and hay bales there will also be a cocktail bar, Aperol and Pimm's Tent, bubble tea, craft ales, a Bellini bar and so much more to excite all ages and tastes!
On the main stage there’s a full line-up of live music all weekend with headline tribute bands including Queen, McBusted, Stereophonics, Steps and many more special guests including Leicester’s Britain’s Got Talent stars, the magnificent EAGA Gospel Choir.
With a dedicated programme of entertainment for families in the Big Top Tent, kids can enjoy balloon discos, drag bingo, circus workshops, hula hoop shows, bubble magic, plus LCFC football skills, a new climbing wall, . There’s also a huge Midlands Makers Market showcasing over 80 local creators and artisan foods.
