Families Invited to Join Freddie’s Festive Fun Run for a Feel-Good Christmas Celebration!
The Bodie Hodges Foundation, a Leicestershire-based charity supporting families bereaved of a child through 1-1 counselling, peer support groups, and national sibling projects, is inviting families to take part in Freddie’s Festive Fun Run this December.
This much-loved family event will take place on Sunday 7th December 2025 at Hastings High School, Burbage (LE10 2QE), running from 11am to 3pm.
Participants can choose between a 1km wheel-friendly route or a 5km route, walking or running at their own pace — making it a fun and inclusive event for all ages and abilities.
In addition to the run, visitors can enjoy a visit from Santa and his real reindeer, plus Christmas and craft stalls, homemade cakes, tombola, and delicious food and drink vendors serving festive treats throughout the day.
New for 2025, there’s a Family Fun Run Ticket available for £30, which includes entry for 2 adults and 2 children (aged 3–16 years).
All proceeds go towards helping the Bodie Hodges Foundation continue their vital work supporting bereaved families across the UK.
