Give Pre-Loved Toys a New Home This Christmas
The run up to Christmas is the perfect time to clear-out all those unwanted kids toys and books, so why not bring them along to our festive toy swap where you can exchange them for something different.
Every toy has the potential to bring joy to a child. Plastic pollution is one of the biggest environmental issues we face. Re-using toys helps to prevent excess waste from reaching landfill, incinerators or the oceans.
This Christmas, we’d like to help families focus on the joy of giving without the high environmental price tag that comes with brand new toys. Toy swaps are a great way to save money and pass on some of your old favourites!
Come and join us on Saturday 14th November from 12-4pm at LCB Depot for this free event, hosted by Parents for Future Leicestershire. Please ensure any swaps you bring are in good, clean, working condition (no electronics, and a maximum of ten items per family).
LCB Depot is at 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. Cultural Quarter Earlies family sessions are held on the 2nd Saturday of every month.
