Decorate your own planter and even plant some lettuce seeds - that'll be another of your 50 things ticked off the list! Betty Cadbury is responsible for much of the collection on display in the Museum of Childhood today. Amongst this collection is a selection of mechanical figures, otherwise known as automata. With Easter in mind we're shining a spotlight on a particularly fitting automata of a little rabbit eating lettuce, made in France in 1925. Grow a lettuce in your decorated planter and make a little Easter bunny marker to keep an eye on it! Easter themed crafts will be running with the Education team, weekdays during the Easter Holiday (2nd – 13th April). They are free of charge and will run from 12:30pm – 3:15pm.
