Keep your children entertained away from screens this summer and book a day at Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm, just minutes outside Salisbury! The farm is home to a wide variety of adorable animals including pigs, goats, sheep, alpacas, donkeys, cows, ponies, rabbits, ducks, geese, guinea pigs, chickens and lots of British rare breeds!
As well as being able to feed the animals around the farm, there are daily activities to ensure you have a jam-packed day, including guinea pig fishing, animal encounters, duck feeding, their famous pig races, and kunekune fishing.
Over the summer holidays, they have a jam-packed program with some very special entertainment every Friday, as dinosaurs take over the farm on Fri 28 Jul and Fri 1 Sep, while Transformers speed their way to Cholderton on Fri 4 Aug. On Fri 11 Aug, join the Mad Hatter for a party with games, then on Fri 18 Aug, meet your favourite Paw Patrol characters and watch their “paw-some” show. Raid the dressing up box on Fri 25 Aug for ‘Pirates and Princesses Day’ enjoy the shows then meet the characters afterwards! Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there’s hilarious Comedy Magic shows!
