Christmas in Calne
Calne Town Council organises a range of fun activities for children and families this winter, starting with the Dinky Dots Market (28 Oct) at Calne Town Hall, offering parents the chance to pick up pre-loved baby and children’s items at great value (10am, entry £1).
Then, on 25 Nov, the town centre lights up in the Calne Festival of Lights, promising festive activities across the town centre with the lantern parade arriving around 5pm followed by the Christmas lights switch on. (Free event, 1-6pm).
Finally, the whole family will enjoy Calne’s Santa Scamper (9 Dec) starting at the Calne Leisure Centre from 11am, when a whole team of Santa’s trot around the town centre.
